Summary: I stayed for most of a week in June with my son who sailed to the island. The property is large and very nice, with a common pool, located on a high point in Sandy's Parish. From there, you can see much of what is going on in the island: ferries, cruise ships, dinghy races, etc. It is in a very convenient location : easy to get to the ferry and bus lines. Walking distance to several essentials. The hosts are wonderful, which obviously you don't know until you get some place, and I feel lucky to have stayed on their property. They want their guests to have a good experience and took time to get to know us, guide us, and help us have a great time on the island. Our apartment (2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom) was notably clean, comfortable, quiet, and safe. I would strongly recommend you have them arrange for pickup at the airport... once through customs, I took about ten steps to my awaiting taxi and drove past the long line of fellow tourists waiting for a taxi. During the summer, the main city, Hamilton, has Harbor Night every Wednesday, which you do not want to miss. If life ever brings me back to Bermuda, I would very much like to stay here again.
